Changing Your Name, UK - England?

How do I go about changing my name legally? Would this be a correct place: http://www.deedpoll.org.uk/ApplyOnline.html if so, would that be valid for everything such as bank accounts etc? and not come back to bite me in the future. It also mentions changing title (from Mr to Miss etc), is this worth doing now or do you have to wait for gender recognition documents?
