I had an orchidopexy. Not to be confused with an orchiectomy. It makes tucking impossible.
One of my balls never dropped. Not like, as a teenager, but as an infant. An undescended testicle is one that doesn't drop into the sack, and stays in the inguinal canal. It's relatively common (1 in 100 in UK), and doctors say if it doesn't descend in the first 6 months, it probably wont ever. I think the only downside is reduced fertility, but there might be other complications. I was 3 when it got 'fixed'.
*Graphic description warning* The fix is an orchiopexy, where they make two incisions: one near the waist to push, and one in the sack to pull so to speak, and then it is permanently stitched into place. Wince. I know right.
Fast forward 30 years, and my egg has broken, and I'm experimenting. I want to push that little nut back up into the inguinal canal where it came from, get a good tuck and wear some nice panties, but it's not happening. It isn't free to move. Short of a orchiectomy, there's no way to comfortably hide it.
I don't know why I'm posting this. Maybe others have had the same experience?
