Creamy green salsa served at mexican restaurants?

I have no idea what it’s called, but I went to one restaurant in LA that had it and another one here at home has it. It’s a light green smooth creamy salsa that supposedly doesn’t have any dairy in it. I would love to make it at home but not sure where to start
