It was blatantly obvious that a girl liked me, but I still didn’t do anything

I don’t want to make this r/confessions, but looking back on it, she made it so obvious. She was single at the time, like me. I started talking to her in history, and we talked like every day. On the last week of school we did these time capsules for history, we filled out papers about stuff and put items in a bag to put in the capsules. She asked if she could cut off a piece of my hair!!! I have long hair and I’m a guy, she cut a piece off and put it in my time capsule. I said nothing. I feel fucking stupid, because now she’s dating the kicker for the football team. She’s literally so hot, my friends drool over here. And I did nothing. I’m a freshman and this was last year. She would go out of her way to talk to me. I want to die
