[Meta] How to choke r/conspiracy of real users

Does anyone think that the 2 month before you can post rule is designed to choke r/conspiracy of new legitimate users?

Shills have the patience to wait 2 months. Do real people have the patience?

I feel like the plan is:

antagonize real users using troll accounts ban real users for being rude prevent new real users from joining

etc. etc.

Are defensive measures by mods actually falling into a trap laid by shills to make r/conspiracy small, unhappy and politically correct?
