I'd like to check something out. Telling people that using the term Zionist is antisemitic is the same as telling people that using the term neoliberal is a slur.

Zionism is a historical movement. The term is attributed too Nathan Birnbaum, a self professed zionist, in 1890. It means somebody in favor of creating a jewish state. Too, say, a person like Einstein it would have almost looked maybe like the democratic confederalism of rojava or ssomething, but that's not what exists in the current world. If you'd like too know more, I don't know, independently study. Read. Listen. Whatever.

So we've examined the term Zionist and found it too be a useful way too define people. People both accept that as a label that defines a political ideology and self express as that. In a lot of ways it's more useful than neoliberal. Less people self identify as neoliberal.

If I walked up too ben Shapiro, and asked him if he was a zionist, he'd say yes, he's a proud zionist. When he was younger he wrote a paper demanding that Israel pushed the Palestinians past the Jordan river into Jordan. The term for that is ethnic cleansing, otherwise known as the forceful removal of a population too another region. He belatedly apologized about that, but has continued too spout racist demagoguery about arabs as he calls them.

The joke about this is that he belatedly apologized for the actual historical and current state of Israel. My point is that the current state of Israel is an apartheid, essentially fascistic, ethnostate that is currently engaged in ethnic cleansing, genocide, and crimes against humanity. If we accept citizenship as personhood Israel has essentially unpersoned the greater part of it's people, namely the palestinians. The only way too move forward is a one state solution.

That is why I'm an anti-zionist. If a lot of fascists self identify as that, that's because the far right can find faults in the current world order but misattribute the cause. So, for example, a lot of far right thinkers think that white cis het males experience of isolation has to do with feminism, or cultural marxism, or whatever.

As a leftist I disagree. If you're a white male ( or whatever. Whatever the subject I'm describing who you are is.) Whose experiencing loneliness or alienation from ones own labour, I'd put the blame on capitalism and the atomization of society that occurred in the post war era.

So TLDR: if you want to call me a racist because I'm anti-zionist, I'll have you know I have a great grandfather who left Norway well before the quisling government in order too get a cushy job designing airplane parts who might have been jewish? So, there you go. Also bagels are delicious.
