How long does raw chicken wings coated in hot sauce last in the freezer?

Last December my friend was hosting a party and I brought wings to put on his grill. I, along with everyone else, overestimated how much food we'd need and half of the wings were never made. Unfortunately I was dumb and had been dipping my wings in the sauce rather than brushing it on before putting them on the grill. Since the sauce was contaminated I poured it into the bag with the remaining wings and threw it in the freezer. I had forgotten about it until this week when I had to pull something out of the back of the freezer. Should I even attempt to make these or is it a lost cause?
