Fixing water damaged phones (iPhone's specifically...)

This question is for all the professional techs out there. What's your favorite procedure for fixing water damaged phones? Me personally it depends on how important the phone is to the customer (Which it usually is). What I"ll do is take the motherboard out, put it in the meat dehydrator for a half hour or so to dry out and then clean the motherboard off with 99% alcohol. I'll put everything back together and see if it'll turn on. If it doesn't turn on I'll try a combination of a new screen, and a new battery and see which one of those two or all of them works. My success rate is around 50%. How about y'all, what's your standard operating procedure for water damaged phones? Always eager to hear how everyone else does.
