Anybody had a Norplant removed, or still have one?

I got a Norplant probably 30 years ago. I absolutely loved it and unfortunately I never had it removed. Has anybody else kept one in way too long, or still have one? I think I probably need to get it out, but it's been in so long I don't know what to do.

Edit: I'm sorry to look illiterate, but can someone please tell my how to respond to comments? After I type my comment, I get a choice of "cancel" or "reply" but neither works.
