Leaving Cress in rotation ruined the event.

I have to say that I was beyond excited about the raid weekend when it was announced. Although its rehashed content, it was enough to get friends and semi retired players interested.

We organized the entire day to raid. Filled the car with eskis full of drinks, 40000 car and battery pack chargers, and not to mention some excited raiders.

Over the course of the day, we found 18 x 5 star raids. Of those 18 raids, 11 were cressilia.

Half way through the day we lost most of the group. It was too disheartening continuously sitting around for an HOUR, waiting for a hatch, only to see cress.

Not going to babble on about it, but I really wish Niantic would start thinking this stuff through. Cress has had a full month of raid time, and I dont see a single valid reason for her staying in the raid pool.

At least change the colour of event raids to gold (eggs) so we dont spend 5 hours in one day sitting and waiting for a big old colorful disappointment.

Edit - Lots of people missing the point that all they needed to do was give the event mon a different egg. Baiting people into helping others with Cress isnt a valid reason either, sorry :)
