Does typing 'June 4th Tiananmen square' on a computer in China activate some sort of firewall? Or is it a joke?

I just saw a green text and some guy explained in the comments area that he typed that in a csgo game on a chinese server and the chinese players disconnected. Does this actually work or is it just a joke?
