I've been studying for a test I can't even attend

I was supposed to be taking a HESI exam test for a nursing program for this school tomorrow, but while I was reading my test preparation guide, I decided to check to make sure I had the right paperwork. The first step was to make sure that I paid for the test. The next step was (supposedly) to arrive at the test location with both documents and sit in for the test.

  1. Registration form? Check
  2. Proof of purchase? Check

Everything sounded good. Except when I read step 2 again. "Proceed to Learning Center in person to submit both forms. A confirmation letter would then be mailed to the address provided a week prior to testing date."

I never got one. My testing date's tomorrow morning. FUCK

I read that over a billion times to make sure I was reading right. My eyes didn't deceive me. I didn't do step 2. Registration closed 2 weeks ago.

$80 isn't gonna kill me, but my parents know I'm supposed to be taking it tomorrow. Now I can't, and I'm gonna either tell them that I fucked up and get my ass kicked verbally or lie to them when results are to come around May. I feel awful. Having just failed out of nursing school 2 months ago, I did not want to start out this way.

May the other schools I applied to grant mercy on my dumb ass.
