What areas have long waits to diagnosis testing?

Hi. I only recently considered if I have Asperger's. I got a referral to a neuropsychologist who should call me this week to set up an appointment.

I've read several posts that OP hasn't been diagnosed by a doctor due to waiting lists. This worries me: I'm in the US. Has anyone experienced too long waiting lists in the US?
