I want a new monitor that looks like the ThinkPad X1 Yoga one (Will Dell S2716DG do?)

Purchasing Help

Hello!

Last week I moved to a new job and they gave me a setup with a ThinkPad X1 Yoga. The screen looks totally amazing and I am having a hard time using the other two monitors at work, even the one in my house. I would really like to have something with that quality at home.

The laptop screen is 1440p SO I ASSUME that any display in that resolution will do the trick. I talked to the IT guy and he say that the everything looks as pretty because of the resolution but I wanna be 100% sure because this is gonna be a expensive purchase with an expensive shipping.

Currently I have a Acer Predator GN246HLBbid and it gets the job done. 24", 144hz, great smoothness for gaming, can't complain really. I just want that clear look the X1 Yoga gives me when browsing the web or looking at videos. I feel like the images are way more clear.

I am looking at an Dell S2716DG. It looks nice, 144hz refresh rate, 1440p and 1ms response time and great price! This will cost me around 800 US dollars and it's a great opportunity because it includes shipping and customs fee that is 50% in my country. It's been hard to not click "Buy now" haha. After that I will sell the Acer in my country and recover 65% of the purchase.

Anyway, the question is: Will any 1440p monitor look like the X1 Yoga one? Or does that have anything that I am missing? Maybe that IPS vs TN thing? I am currently using a TN panel and NEVER notice the "TN cons" until today, and even now I am not sure if I can perceive them. I have also been reading about pixel density, 14" 1440 vs 27" 1440 may make the new monitor not look as good as the one at work?

My video card is ASUS ROG STRIX A8G Gaming GeForce GTX 1080 Advanced Edition 8GB.

Thanks in advance!
