Why can't cannabis be smoked like a cigar?
Cigarette tobacco is roughly 1% nicotine and therefore is inhaled into the lungs for absorption. Cigar tobacco is usually much higher nicotine, and I know rustica tobacco is commonly used in cigar blends which is around 9% nicotine. Cigars are not inhaled and are instead pulled into the mouth and absorbed without inhalation. If modern cannabis is 20%, 30%, and sometimes even higher than that, why can't you get high from holding smoke in your mouth and exhaling without inhalation? You can even make candies, or tinctures, and now a days they have dip pouches that absorb sublingually, so why doesn't it work the same when cannabis is combusted and the smoke is not inhaled?
