Someone should tell these people that we eat with our eyes first!

We eat with our eyes first. One look at most of the messes in these posts and my appetite is gone. May as well eat standing over the kitchen sink for all the finesse in making these dishes look like they taste good.

My family owned a restaurant so long ago that it had the distinction of being the first to be integrated in the area. I was tiny but have some memories of it, and my grandparents took great pride in making everything they served beautiful. If you work in a place that delivers food on top of toys, in garbage cans or something equally ridiculous, please pass along my complaint. I haven't eaten there yet or I'd have already complained loudly in person, but I travel a lot and may end up there. Thank you.
