Fps and graphics with my computer

Hey, I currently have a GTX Strix 1080 Ti GPU, i7-6700k 4.2GHz CPU and 16 GB ram.

On my 1080p 60hz screen. I get 85-95 fps with the current launch options and settings on Epic and my GPU at 99-100% load:(Exakt names might be wrong) -USEALLAVAILABLECORES -NOVSYNC -NOMANSSKY -High

And I'm very pleased with that. But then, I have my 2560x1440p screen with 144 hz. I understand that I won't get nearly as good frames with that increase of pixels. But I'm getting around 30 only... Is the game just not ready for that resolution and I should just play on my 1080p screen to get smooth gameplay without shit graphics? Because I assume I could do 1440p on medium or low settings, but then what's the point? Or are there any other 1440p screen players here with good frames using specifik settings/launch options ?
