Tried Emerita progest again after being off it for a few months...felt a sudden surge of rage!

Last year I was taking Progesterone cream (Emerita) and it seemed to be helping with symptoms like insomnia and fatigue.

This year my issue has been feeling depressed/anxious during the end of each cycle, so preemptively, I decided to apply some cream today.

An hour or so later, I felt a RUSH of rage. My even mood seemed like it took a sharp left turn and I was snappy with my husband and feeling aggravated by the tiniest things.

There is a chance this is all coincidental, but just thought it was odd enough to post about. Especially considering progesterone is supposed to make you more mellow, though I suppose it all depends on quantity and its relative amount to estrogen and other hormones.

Anyway, another datapoint in the ongoing rollercoaster...it'd be nice if we could all input our experiences in a large database...
