Which books to buy?

I know there is mass protocol and ageless athlete. Will these books work together with first ones? Are they supplemental? Are they meant to be used after the first two?

It depends on your goals.

TB1 (3rd edition) = strength training & strength-endurance

TB2 = Conditioning/cardio

Mass Protocol = Hypertrophy

If you just want strength training, go with TB1. If you just want advanced cardio/conditioning, go with TB2. If you want a complete strength & cardio system go with both Tb1 & 2. Add Mass after if hypertrophy interests you.

PPLE & Ageless Athlete are supplemental. AA isn't standalone, it doesn't contain the conditioning sessions or most of the strength templates--- it's basically a way to adapt your existing TB protocol if you're an older/masters athlete. PPLE isn't really necessary if you have 1&2 imo.

+1. I'll just add that Mass Protocol is a standalone program that includes cardio and everything else you need to get jacked.

Hard to get more specific without knowing your goals. Why do you train? What are you training for? What do you want to get out of your training?

Good suggestions here.

I just want to add that you can approach it slightly differently. Buy all 3 main books: TB1, TB conditioning, and Mass. Do the reading and thinking. Re-read some parts of it again. Do more thinking.

TB books are great and it can change your understanding of your current goals and training in general.

And it is fun after all.
