Mine is at NHMS, and all 3 times I've gone to the Cup race, there's this one guy with a Keselowski flag, and he waved it as Brad went by, every single lap.

I’ve only been to a couple races. But I went to the July Daytona race this year.
The last half of the race, every time Stenhouse drove by this lady behind me would scream “Jyackass” (I tried to spell it like it sounded). Everyone was laughing every time she did that.
Lol there's some characters out there!
Watching Logano move Kenseth at Kansas and the crowd going nuts.
Sitting in the stands at Daytona for the Pepsi 400 that didnt start till 10pm in '05.
I haven’t gone to a race but I remember the 2014 fall Richmond race and the guy climbed the catch fence.
An Oldie but a Goldie
What the hell on you waiting on bud!? Make plans to go to a race next season. You won't regret it.
I’m really busy. I’m a full time college student and being a biology premedicine major, I can’t spend summers screwing around. Have to study.
good to have goals, but don't blow out the little gray cells.
Some tracks have college discounts too. xD
I gotta look into that. I really want to splurge for my first race.
I won $50 when I was like 14 years old from a "pick a number out of a hat, if that car wins you get the money" raffle at Daytona.
Who’d you pick?
It was a random draw but I got 8. The 2003 Bud Shootout.
I’m sure you felt good about that one.
Yeah even at 14 I was like "yall should give me the money now." Lol.
Watkins Glen, 2016. This guy was fucking with me because he hated Carl Edwards. Anyways he brings up he’s a Bills fan and a couple of other guys are Steelers fans or Ravens fans and they join in. So he’s like you a Bills fan, and I go hell no. I don’t hate myself that much. Anyways he goes, oh shit, you’re a Dolphins fan aren’t you, me and my dad say nope. A fucking Jets fan? A big nope. Long pause...Patriots fan. We go yup. Immediately the Steelers guy brings up 6 rings and the Ravens fan told us that we cheated with the balls while the Bills and the Steelers guy defended us weirdly. It was a mess. Anyways later on the Steelers fan gets shitfaced and rubs my dads head like a genie asking for a wish and I talked to the Bills fan, and kept bragging on about Kasey Kahne and I told him that I met his sister down there. And he says no way, and I say yup. Kandi was a really nice piece. He then said go fuck yourselves. The race was fun, a lot of us were cheering for Martin Truex to win and we all got pissed when Aggresive went around. But that was the most fun at a race I can remember with other fans.
Kandi sounds like fun...
14 year old me thought it was a good idea to write my phone number on a girl's wrist in sharpie after flirting with her awkwardly at Chicago in 09 or something. She was removing it later when I looked back.
The cringe was real.
She probably had a black smudge to remind her of you for the rest of the day.
Lady screaming "GO JEFF GORDON GO!!" at Bristol in 96 every time he drove past her
At Watkins Glen? Sure, understandable- 90 times. Bristol? Good god. 500 times.
Hahaha that’s funny. I was at Dega one year where Gordon wrecked out early and every time he went buy one guy a few rows down would stand up and flip him the bird. Every. Single. Lap.
It's every lap, always every lap, and I can't figure out why.
I'm going to say my wildest grandstand memory wasn't NASCAR. Super Dirt Week in Syracuse, NY. Can't remember the year, but it was the last year they did it. It rained and DIRT officials swore they'd get the race in on Sunday (They didn't), and they brought in "The Parking Lot Packers"
Anyone could bring their vehicle on track to run it in and dry it out. There was this cat with an Explorer that thought he was driving a dirt mod. Clearly, alcohol was involved. He was passing other cars on the outside, just screaming that Explorer down the front straight. They tried for laps to get him off the track. They finally roadblocked him and sent him on his way.
Fast forward, it was apparent that the race wasn't happening so we headed for the parking lot. There it was outside the grandstand, the Ford Explorer just covered in mud. Next to it, a woman in leopard print EVERYTHING carrying a suitcase (also leopard print) just tearing the driver a new one trying to walk away as he'd pull closer. I can't remember the argument, but it was clearly the wife/girlfriend having a domestic dispute right there in front of everyone leaving the stands.
Damn, I miss the Syracuse Mile.
The atmosphere at the Moody Mile was amazing. The last race there was so bittersweet. And the F*** Cuomo banner was the cherry on top.
Got to see an old lady’s butt at 2017 Dover Fall race
We need more info.
She was a bunch of rows down from me and there was an old man right behind her flirting with her and she kept teasing him and then she showed her butt. It was awful.
No, what was really awful was seeing three guys turn over a porta can with their "buddy" inside it out in one of the campgrounds areas at Talladega 15-20 years ago. Unpleasant, indeed.
Oh my god
Bristol night race this season. Me and 2 buddies, we are drunk as hell having an absolute blast (first trip to Bristol for all 3 of us). We start talking to these old guys, maybe in their 60s, behind us. One of my buddies is a Marine, and started talking more specifically to one of the old guys. So we keep drinking, and eventually the old guy gets our attention and pulls out a mail pouch. I recognize immediately that its chew, where my Marine buddy asks the dude what it is and is told its moonshine flavor. He assumes it is beef jerky. So he has a big ass hand full, gives a pinch to me and the other guy. I sneakily drop mine, the other guy chews his, and the Marine pops a whole hand full in, chews it, and swallows it. I'm dying with laughter, he says he feels like shit, and finally asks the guy what it was. He spent the last 200 laps sicker than hell before going down and throwing up through the fence after the race. Never lives it down.
Sounds like my first time dipping at age 15 LOL
I don't really have one moment specifically, but it's awesome to know I had seats on the Daytona back stretch before they were knocked down.
First dover race I went to 2015 when harvick won, the lady right in front of me read a book the whole time, super confused how you can read a book at a race
Richmond when Kyle Bush spun Jr. into the wall on the like second to last lap. That was the loudest booing I've ever heard lmao. Then as we were leaving there was a giant ass line outside and someone was like this is the line to kill Kyle Bush. Freakin hilarious
I haven’t been to many races, but I remember going to Richmond as a kid and seeing some dude get knocked on his ass for yelling something bad about Dale Sr. It was kind of funny because he went from being really loud and obnoxious to being dead silent the rest of the race lol
Never mess with Sr. fans lol
Getting flashed by a smoking hot chick at Talladega. My wife was unimpressed.
More info.
The year the guy behind me at the brickyard took a swig from his spit cup thinking it was his beer cup.
My cousin giving the beer girl a $100 tip to kiss her.
Easily the Dale Sr./Dale Jr. fan who wore a funnel hat and paraded up-and-down the front-stretch when I went to the 2005 Daytona 500. He was also at the 2005 Pepsi 400; on TV, he can been seen during Tony Stewart's victory celebration, trying to hand him a Budweiser after Stewart climbed the fence.
Anyone know who that guy was? Is he still going to the races in Daytona?
I was there, sitting about row 5, a little past the end of pit road. I'll never forget that guy lol
Lol i can perfectly picture that guy waving the flag every single lap.
Nothing in particular, but mine would be when Jimmie caught Truex at the start finish line during the white flag at the Roval race. Lots of Booing and middle fingers (as if the drivers can see them).
Why all the hate for JJ ???
2014 Daytona 500. Sitting through the 7 hour rain delay, and witnessing Dale Jr win it. Nothing will ever top that for me
I was there too man, I'm not a Jr. fan and I was happy he won and seeing all the fans sling beer around as he crossed the finish line was amazing.
