Socially Delusional
So with emotions nawed away and living in solitary confinement for years Id say that many of us are socially delusional, living in a bubble.
This is the first time in my life that i started believing that my perception of the peers interacting with me is completely and utterly wrong. Back in my early teens i believed that people conspired against me, so i behaved wierdly to hide the real "me". Now, debuting my 20s, my social theories are very different but still very strange...
I just dont know anything about human interaction. I have very shallow ideas of how to react to certain cues, i cant react to unexpected situations(like an unfamilliar girl saying hello to me, or some random angry person screaming me down), so i dont react to them and ignore them.
Ive also realised that especially women start talking about me in a very positive light if they see me doing some act of kindness/common courtessy like freeing my seat on the train for the elderly or for women with children. Im doing those things just to avoid confrontation and because of my collectivist thought(certainly not acts of compassion).
Its strange, trying to get the whole picture is like reading underwater , you get only certain letters right. You may read something that isnt there too.

You're partly right... 99% of people are running on auto-pilot; staying within the comfort of their bubbles. You say women notice you when you give up your seat, that's just because it is unusual in that you're making a concious decision to go outside of your bubble, for what appears to be an altruistic reason. Otherwise, there is no spotlight on you.
They say human interaction is - 7% the words you say, 38% the tone in which you say them, and 55% in body language (mostly eye contact, eyebrows, smiling, stance facing other person). There's not much to overthink unless you really try. You can get through 90% of interactions with head nods, 'uh-huhs', and parroting what the other person says. Otherwise just learn how to ask basic questions and you can get by in any interaction. Keep it Simple, Take it Easy.
That's legit crazy to me. I would say for me about 5% of communication is body language. Unless they seem really irritable I don't even think about it.
Until reading a lot of post on Reddit talking about it, I had no idea people even try to read each other in conversations. That's pretty much a foreign concept to me. When I'm talking to someone my mind is just completely silent and I formulate what I want to say after they stop talking.
Hey, lurkrul, just a quick heads-up:
concious is actually spelled conscious. You can remember it by -sc- in the middle.
Have a nice day!

Hey CommonMisspellingBot, just a quick heads up:
Your spelling hints are really shitty because they're all essentially "remember the fucking spelling of the fucking word".
You're useless.
Have a nice day!
