I feel like if they could hack their def wouldn't they have done the same to their resists? It is ridiculously high though O_o

The defense seems way too high, though everything else seems normal from what i remember from 3U. that seems like an odd hack. hack your defense but not damage?

Definitely possible to reach max hr and funds, though people will label you a hacker for doing so.

You can get some pretty funky defense values with the right buffs, but OP's screenshot was taken in the gathering hall where most of them (consumables, skills, hunting horn songs) can't be applied until you start a quest. IIRC, defense from armor alone doesn't above 800 in 3U. I'm almost certain that getting it to over 3000 is out of the question, buffs or not.
