MMR freeze or bug?

Question

I'm sitting at 5087 MMR at Rank 14 currently (my horrible run with Scoia'tel has a lot to do with that).

I've played 5 games this morning, all as NR, won 3 out of 5 with the 3 being all in a row, and yet my MMR has not gone up or down at all. It's just stuck. I haven't completed all my placements yet. I still have 32 games with NR before they are all done.

So what gives? Is my MMR just too high for the rank I'm at and I'm frozen until I move up again or what?

MMR doesnt matter at all above rank 0.

Ok, but that doesn't answer my question?

It's weird that it's not going up or down. What's more, I'm no where near Rank 0 and doubtful to reach it this late in the season.

Essentially every faction has 40 placement matches, as you complete them you get a percentage of your peak FMMR for that faction. If you've played the other 4 factions more or better they will be used to calculate your MMR, as it only uses the 4 best FMMRs.

Read the explanation in the game ... It's on the right panel, it's related to peak MMR and current MMR.

I also answered on your other topic, MMR should be the least of your consideration at this rank, go grind ranks first :)

Check your profile page. The MMR use peak fMMR and not current fMMR. So if your current fMMR is below your peak fMMR (and you have more than 40 games with this faction), your MMR won't go up until you "beat" your fMMR.
