No one should listen to the music I like but me!
Its so sad that there are so much people listening to doom now! I started when there were only a few 100 views and no body even knew about it! What's the point of good music that has allot of meaning to the very few that had been fans since the beginning and are emotionally attached to doom metal.. Now there are a bunch of sheep thinking they are us but really all their do is follow us, all I know is they will never overtake us for they need us to show them where to look! This music is not about sharing with everybody, this music deserves abit more respect than to just land up in any bodies and every bodies hands!!! If u were not a fan from the beginning u should not even be here, for if the image of doom ever changes it will always be damed as well as lose its value!!!
So stop jumping to conclusion of thinking I expect u to understand, its my point of view!! Secondly if ur son listens to doom at the age of 9 I promise you that the music found him & it is like that for a reason! For then I agree its meant to be at that young age! as that shows he did not find it through influence of common bad habbited people, but through influence of emotion & family as well as through a crave to search for music that is different from all other because we are naturally different!, & if it is different from the rest it will never be common, until the common get the same craving to be different & from that the different WILL BE SEEN AS THE COMMON & that can never be changed.. MY POINT IS "WE MUST PROTECT THE IMAGE OF DOOM AND HARD FOLK ROCK"!!! For the more people know about folk doom rock the more polluted it gets with the wrong image & thus why we must treat it as sacred for that's what it is! I'm sorry but if u think doom is worthy of being shared with everybody and anybody u are fucking lunytune!! For the vocals and the meaning behind what is being said deserves allot more respect than that!! And when I refer to doom I refer to bands and groups like (count raven, dead medow, temple hex ect...) What those bands represent is more special and spiritual than u will ever know!! And if u think sharing that type of music is ok, then u obviously don't understand the real meaning that music has! I am offended when u act like its a good thing that doom ect is becoming well known around the world & I'm sure there is others out there that feel the same and know that it deserves abit more respect! But if I'm the only one that feels that way, it it still wont change my oppinion! I don't want to listen to music that everybody else listens to!! Its in my nature, just like a wolf not wanting to share his food with a member from a different pack IM JUST HUMAN U KNOW ;). So ya we all have our opinions and that's mine!! but in some ways I agree with u, example new talent as well as ideas that's always better than the next, that's how we evolve as humans by getting better,, but in this case as this being about a music " the music doesn't get better because of the millions or billions of people listening to it, it gets better because of the people creating that music in that moment & time.. with more to forever follow, hey if u can make a living through music why not I would do it but I'll always keep in mind the real reason why good music was created, not from the want to be famous but the love it was built upon & its hard to lose sight of that if there is not abit of order as well as mortals set for the structure.. And commercial music lacks allot of morals for at the end of the day its mainly about the money & that's how a band like ACDC is created!!! We sure as heeelllllll don't want that haha just like the Eminem story, that's what getting well known and famous gets u, shit music!!!!
