Racquetball players in KC?

I haven't played regularly in about 10 years (I'm 32, male), and looking to connect with people (beginner/intermediate) to play once or twice a week. Willing to buy a membership somewhere. I'm mostly playing for fitness, but a place that does tournaments regularly might be nice, too! I live in midtown but don't mind driving.

Overland Park Athletic Club is very active. Regular tournaments, several courts, active leagues, etc. 103rd & Metcalf. Handball, as well, and even badminton and table tennis. It’s getting a little run down, but the price is more than right and they have a variety of facilities, classes and equipment available — indoor running track, free weights, weight machines, treadmills/bikes/elliptical/stair machines, basketball courts, etc.

When I used to go to 24 hour/ genesis fitness on 119th and Metcalf they had a bunch of league type stuff and different play levels. Even had an online portal where you could find people to play with/against I believe.

I played racquetball often in college but haven’t picked up my racquet since (I’m 29 now). If you can find a place to play let’s try to line something up.

Sounds good. I'm thinking about signing up at the J. There's some other friendly folks I have talked to online who play there. I'm going to try to play next Saturday if you want to join me!
