PSA: If you live outside the US, DO NOT purchase any Smoking Vapor products

I'm done with this company. My pod just crapped out and started to autofire because their newer pods still have leaking issues.

Last year I had sent a message to Geoff warning him to fix the air flow hole AND the leaking bottom section. It seemed they fixed the first but completely ignored my warning about the second issue.

Low and behold I bought a pack on Friday and the entire pod leaked into my unit.

I went to the store I bought it from, they said to contact SV. I did so and they told me that the store I bought it from wasn't authorized to sell them, so SV has been refusing to help me out because their Canadian distributor should. I contacted their Canadian distributor but they also refused to help me for the same reason SV turned me away.

So now I wasted $90 on the MiPod, pack of pods and juice and the company refuses to at the very least send me a replacement of even give me a discount on a new unit.

SV should help you even if the seller isn't on their authorized list, it's still their product.

The Canadian Distributor though has nothing to do with this, as obviously the vendor you purchase from did not purchase the product from them.

It's a bit odd they'd send you to SV knowing they won't do anything though.

The owner told me they dealt directly with SV, no distributor was used. And they were also the first retailers in the country to offer them even before it was known who their Canadian distributor was, so I'm more inclined to believe the owner.

And yeah, exactly, so I'm not sure why SV is also ignoring me when I told them the distributor was not helping me.

I just don't know what else to do at this point so I'm just warning everyone that's non American here to avoid the products because one bad/leaky pod can ruin your device and unless you bought from an unknown to the public authorized retailer, they and SV will refuse to help you out.

We’re not huge fans of the SV products. PM me. I’ll get you a Vladdin RE free of charge so you can have something as a replacement. (Much better device too)

Hey, my SV product crapped out too! Gee, I wish there was some retailer that gave out Vladdins for free...

/s but seriously, I haven’t heard of your site but that’s class act and I’ll definitely order my next round of stuff from y’all

it's still their product.

Not necessarily. If the seller didn't get the product in a legit way, it may be clones. I don't know if that's the case, but I assume that's the reason behind their reasoning.

It's not clones. I can post screenshots of my emails with them verifying that my serial number is authentic.

They or their distributor just essentially ignored me when push came to shove.

I will be posting a write up of the Vladdin this weekend. By far the best pod kit I've used. No leaks or gurgling. I've seen a lot of posts crapping on it and I was quite surprised because it's been a week now and the flavour is still phenomenal.

I don’t disagree, but it seemed like OP was just dismissed - ideally, the vendor should have resolved the issue for them

I haven't had any issues in the 6 pods I've used...

Also, you bought from an unauthorized retailer. That isn't SV's fault.

How is it my fault when they never even provided a list of authorized retailers in Canada?

Firstly, it's not like they ever made an official announcement they were entering the Canadian market and provided a list of authorized retailers.

Secondly, I bought it from Vape29, one of the most popular and from my experience, reliable retailers in Toronto and I was told by them to contact SV since I was told by the owner they bought directly from Geoff and SV as they were the first retailers in Canada to have them.

I really don't know what else to do now since SV is refusing to provide any sort of help and their distributor in Canada won't even pick up the phone or respond to my emails.

Also, that is why I have stated in the title to not buy SV products if you live outside the US.

There is another post right now that's on the front page about how the official UK distributor has been useless in helping the OP that posted it. So it's not just my fault, there's clearly something wrong with the distributors that SV has chosen to use.

Hence why I'm warning any non American readers here to stay away.
