AC Oddissey if I didn't like Origins

Everybody talk great things about Oddissey and how Assassin's Creed has improved since Origins but the truth is that I wasn't able to play more than 10 hours on Origins.

In my opinion RPG elements are heavily watered down, stealth is useless when you have a good weapon, combat is simplistic and exploration is repetitive. I'm really disappointed with it and I wonder if Oddissey has really improved or not knowing what I didn't like in the last one.

The RPG elements got heavily expanded in Odyssey, but if you didn't like the stealth and combat in Origins then I don't think you'll enjoy Odyssey. I'd pass if I were you.

Time to replay Batman Arkham games or The Witcher 3, then... Thanks

If you've got a PS4 i'd recommend God of War and Spiderman, it's said everywhere that they're amazing but, my dude.

I got a PS4 for Christmas, first playstation i've had since PS2, and I got these two games and nothing else and man, just these two alone was worth the console price.

I spent all my saves on a new gaming rig and purchasing a PS4 it's like signing for divorce. Thanks for the advice though.

It’s like an upgraded Origins, if you didn’t like Origins you won’t like Odyssey.

I didn't like Origins, but I'm really enjoying Odyssey. It is not super different, but I went into origins thinking this is gonna be assassins creed and it just felt like a half assed rpg witcher wanna be and I was like screw this game. I traded it in and hated the grind and repetitive gameplay it had. Fast forward to the past few weeks I have about 16 hours in Odyssey, but I am enjoying it much more. I knew more what I was getting into and the side quests seem more interesting in this game than origins. I also feel the main quest is more interesting and it just feels like a more decent game than origins. It is still not witcher 3 mind you, but the main story is interesting to me which I find very important in open world games. I also really enjoy the combat for the most part more than origins. It is similar but i like the abilities and it is repetitive yet always fun. It's hard to explain but if you think of this game as like a half baked witcher 3 but an upgrade over the last game then I think you will enjoy it. Sometimes it feels like a 9/10 with its story elements, but overall I'd say it is an 8/10 with some 9/10 10/10 elements scattered in there. It also has been on sale recently for like $30 which I feel is a great price for such a lengthy game. I recommend it but I wouldn't say it is a must play. It is more like a very solid game you will enjoy, but won't need to go out and get immediately unless you have nothing else to play. I like it a good amount overall though as it commits more to the rpg sense. Literally just remove assassins creed from the cover. This game is called knockoff yet solid witcher 3 in Ancient Greece.

I feel like The Witcher 3 has spoiled the rest of the RPGs so much... I think I'm going to try other things like an action game or platformer and come back to Assassin's Creed after some time.

I was neutral to origins didn't care much for the characters. Spaced out on most cut scenes. Odyssey to me tho after the first island which I explore every part the story hits in and omg i was excited for it.

Exploration and story got expanded and all but if you don’t like sucking sjw story-cocks then I wouldn’t recommend.

Games supposed to be only neat on hard difficulty tbh origins was only interesting at hard aswell.
