I’d recommend trying minmus with your mun craft because you are going slower when beginning to enter its SOI and it eats less fuel landing due to the weaker gravity
Set minmus as your target on the map from Kerbin orbit, then at either the Ascending Node or Decending Node, burn normal or anti-normal to zero it out. That will put you on the same inclination as minmus. Then transfer out to it just as you would the Mun.
I still haven’t done that. Just the Mun for me.

minmus is easier than mun for a land and return trip.
I read that all the time, but I don’t know how to change my angle properly to get to it.
