We have two bundles of unused firewood that we cannot bring home on an airplane. Does anyone know of a local place that accepts firewood and some unused propane cannisters in the Joshua Tree area?

Thanks everyone! We ended up giving it to someone at a parking lot today.
You may be able to leave them near the info board. Not sure about the environmental impact they will leave. However they will get taken if you put a note on them saying free.

Zero. There are no small animals out when its this cold.
Perfect.
Leave them at the entrance to any campground and they'll be gone in an hour!
This, or even at the fire pit on the last night for the next person.
