I've been racking up Gala tokens, and I was wondering what I should put them towards. In your opinions, what's the most useful item out of the three (Doggy Rope, Doggo Charm, Doggy Paddle) that you can buy in the connect trader?

Doggy paddle is definitely must have. It's quite helpful for several CB's
How many should we 5*?

Screw blowing twenty-four Reforge Knives making three of 'em, though.
While I think having 2 or 3 paddles are good, they will probably come back - maybe during chinese new year event, so I wouldn't really use reforges on it.
i would say paddle > rope > charm. The paddles are really good for cbs since they can be equipped by melee and ranges, i have 2 5* from last year, got a third now because is so good and maybe i'll get a fourth (but it may be a little too much). The Charm i'm really sure i have never used it and the rope is a must too because garm.
I agree with everyone on the Doggy Paddle. Actual good non-light/dark elemental weapons are hard to come by, at least on my experience and luck.
Doggy Paddle for sure, as it's a "Fire ATK to Nearest Enemy Row" equipment for Melee/Ranged, which is not common at all. I find myself using it like all the time.
Like, Ninja Tail (Restriction: Ranged), is literally the only other equipment that is "Fire ATK to Nearest Enemy Row" and that's a limited item from the King Of Fighters Collab.
Similarly, there's Crimson Axe (Restriction: Aesir/Jotun; Melee), which is not a common gear/I think only available in Gear-Summons, and its targeting is actually "Nearest 3 Enemies", which while usually better than "Nearest Row" but is not always. Or its weaker but more common counterpart the Burning Axe (Restriction: Melee).
Doggy Rope is dependent on whether you're a collector or you like using Garm. As it's a pretty good gear for him.
Doggo Charm is whatever. If you like doing PVP then it's an option to punish snipers. But not really useful for CBs and such.
