Colonies and vassals barely convert provinces due to the cost now

Discussion

And by extention, they hardly ever convert culture. This is very irritating, as I now have colonies that are 5% my own religion and culture, and 95% trash. Paradox, pls fix.

Colonies don't because of their new ideas making intolerance have no penalties to unrest or religious unity, so they do not convert.

You should be able to impose a religious transition, maybe at the cost of liberty desire. Not saying it should be easy but it should be an option.

Considering force religion is already 100% liberty desire, I can’t imagine what the cost of that would be

Force religion is 50% at most.

50% if they are the same religious group (force converting Protestant subject to Catholic) while differing religious groups is 100% (force converting Sunni subject to Catholic)

If your CN are outside your religion type then you fucked up.

You can convert your colony's provinces yourself

I know, but I'd rather they did it themselves

Nice, i was getting sick of them converting culture that where accepted in my empire.

Seriously, in my old game, my colonial australia (Aozhou) had all 3 culture of Japan, but they kept trying to convert them to a single culture. Cheating allowed me to make them accepted culture, still they did not stop trying to convert them.

So maybe now they will stop doing that.
