How is SOC 220?

I need one culture/diversity class for my degree, and looking through the list I decided to sign up for SOC220. Anyone have experience with this class? How easy is it?

I took the online version of it. At least for the online version, it wasn't difficult, just a moderate amount of work. We had weekly quizzes, and writing prompts.

The class itself is okay, I didn't really find it too useful. But just know that it goes over lots of political and very opinionated topics.

From the description it doesn't seem to useful either, but I just need a random course to fulfill the degree requirement. So long as it isn't difficult I'm fine with it.

Yeah it was a requirement for me too. I'm not sure how the in class version is though, I would just assume there's more participation involved.

I took the course last semester and I’d say it was good overall. My instructor was a good guy and was open to working with students, gave good feedback. Pretty easy in my experience.

Get Lindsey Hamm if you can. The hybrid class is great.

Have you taken it? If so how is the difficulty? I'm in that class currently with her

Yes. The class is currently with her. Honestly, an A+ was 940+ points out of about 1700.

Its crazy easy. Just do all of the assignments until you get 930 points for an A which isnt hard at all since she offers 1,400+ points.
