I had no idea caliburns would look good in the same color. That's so cool. Nice color too.

The funny thing is idk. I got the filament from the makerspace I am a part of and they got 2 brand new rolls for $2 at a bargain place. So sorry I'm not sure.

One of the coolest greens I have is one Amazon sent us that was supposed to be Hatchbox. It has no brand on the roll and is definitely not Hatchbox. Happy accidents

Those are the best ways to get surprises.

Mystery brand filament. Blaster gains magical powers.

You are very right.

I don't know about magical properties or lack there of, but it looks likes its Tianse blue.

Take it to Cain the Elder in town to have him identify it for you.

"Stay awhile, and listen!"

This is music to my ears as someone who will never overcome his love for D1/2.

Quick question, how does it prime? Because there's nothing behind the plunger so what pushes it? Because you can't just cut slits in the side of the plunger tube can you?

Well the two metal bars push the bolt back which pushes the plunger back until it engages the sear. Then u use the pump grip to push the bolt forward again to seat the dart in the barrel. Then it is ready to fire.

3

Oh so the bars push on the front of the plunger?

3
NeonKoolAidOP•

Well kinda. They push the bolt which pushes on the plunger.

Bars go to a ramrod, which is hollow. That pushes the plunger back to the sear. On the forward stroke, the ramrod pushes a dart into the barrel. When you pull the trigger, the plunger head shoots forward, forcing air through the ramrod, firing the dart. The priming bars fit inside the plunger tube.

Thank you!

What is a caliburn?

3
hjfraser2013•

Look up Captain Slug Caliburn. It is a open source 3d printer blaster. You can buy complete blasters from him or step level kit packages. Also since it is open source from Captain Slug others are making their own and also selling.

It's a 3d printed homemade pump Springer.
