Suggestion for a new TWAB feature

Bungie Suggestion

Take the current top issue/suggestion/complaint/feedback from the community as a WHOLE (I believe the community managers give regular reports internally, so they already know what is #1 at any given time), and bring a relevant dev in for some response/commentary/insight. But do this regularly, like once a month or every other week...not just when the salt mine is exploding.

With Community Summit 2.0 apparently going on as I type this, the same old recurring theme has reared up here and on Twitter: "Oh, they're bringing in the streamers again. Wonder what they're going to do to fuck the game up this time."

I think this is a common refrain, because (made-up number incoming) 99% of the people who give feedback get nothing back. No response, no acknowledgment, maybe a generic "we hear you" but that's about it. At least in D1 we had the wish list on bnet to get perpetually ignored. But that was, at a minimum, official acknowledgment of the things the community wanted.

This would improve communication (remember fire drill mode early last year? Communication should be that good all the time). Give us a little peek behind the curtain (you know, not just the streamers in Seattle). Feedback from devs on the community's concerns. Or maybe just a little perspective.

Like when the guy was talking about the issue with shader deletion (he got a little technical, but that's okay). Like Hamrick's occasional Evenings of Candor on Twitter. When this communication is actually substantive, it feels really special.
