Mega Guide: For the current Meta or "No don't candy Rayquaza first, that's a really old guide"

Brief terminology guide:

  • MSU: Mega Speed Up. Each one makes the Mega Pokemon evolve in one icon less than usual. This guide is essentially only recommending where you spend these items.
  • SS: Skill swapper. Sometimes necessary to swap a Mega to a beneficial skill, in this guide it is only ever recommended to swap to either Mega Boost+ or Swap++
  • AP: Attack Power
  • SE: Super Effective
  • NVE: Not Very Effective
  • Mo3/4/5: Match of 3 / 4 / 5 icons
  • Max level: Maximum possible experience plus maximum possible Raise Max Level investment. Max level is variable in shuffle, but is between Lv.15 and Lv. 30
  • Boosted Evolution: Mega evolution aided by the use of a Mega Boost or Swap skill
  • Raw Evolution: Mega evolution not aided by any skill, but purely based on amount of matched icons

Hello all, I’m Deadeyedave from the discord.

People on the Reddit might know me as the creator/maintainer of the Shuffle stat spreadsheet:

https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonShuffle/comments/8w9bzc/public_shufflestat_spreadsheet_updated/

On the discord I’m more known for my anti-tapper, anti-hoarder, pro-Hammering Streak and pro-Overkilling stages viewpoints, as well as trying to do my best for giving advice to new players; when Shon160 (official discord coach) isn’t available to do it much more competently.

I wanted to address a question I see asked a lot by new players, namely:

“If I’m new, and I have no megas candied, in what order should I candy them?”

My answer is largely opinion based and very biased towards my own perspective, but I’ll try and relate it back to facts as much as possible so you can make your own decisions.

There are two primary considerations when evaluating megas:

(1) Amount of icons needed to evolve

(2) Effect

It’s worth pointing out that any time I refer to evo speed, that means “FULLY CANDIED evo speed”. There’s no point discussing uncandied megas.

For fully candied megas, in my PERSONAL opinion, 6 icon evolution is the acceptable benchmark. This is because you can either do it in one turn with a +, L or T match; or in two turns with a mo3 on each turn, which is easily achieved.

Faster than 6 is great.

Slower than 6 is bad.

Typing and AP are mostly not important.

This is a concept new players struggle with a lot. A mega being SE can obviously be a bonus, but there are plenty of cases where a neutral or NVE mega can be more useful than blindly choosing an SE one.

We live in the modern metagame where shot out Noivern and hammering streak Shiny Metagross regularly hit for 3,000 damage, and monsters like Litwick and Infernape can (with support) blow stages away with 27,000 (!!!) damage in a single match.

For a more direct comparison, assuming you have a perfect Rayquaza, a mo5 SE Mega Rayquaza deals 880 damage, compared to a mo5 regular Rayquaza, which deals 3520 damage!

With that in mind, who cares if a mega match deals 250 damage neutral and 500 damage super effectively? Nobody should care. You included. So banish thoughts of “But it’s not super effective!” from your mind.

Skyfall

Another consideration is the icons above the screen, the icons you can't currently see. Commonly referred to as “Skyfall”. If you imagine that the skyfall you can’t see is an even 25:25:25:25 ratio of all your support Pokémon on a 4 mon stage. When you make a mega match, mega icons are removed from the skyfall for 60 icons. Which means that you get a brief window where the skyfall is 0:33:33:33 which is like a pseudo complexity -1!

This just means that if you want combos, it’s almost always beneficial to bring a mega, even if it is a Mega who is literally useless, for example, a Mega who only removes barriers, on a stage with no barriers.

On to my order of recommended megas:

(0) Mega Gengar (Ghost type, 10 icon raw evo, 110 AP, 1 msu to max)

I made this Mega number zero because you can skip it if you’ve already done number 1 on the list.

Gengar is not the best mega. Maybe not even a good mega.

Gengar’s effect is what I call a “Self-deleter”, which means when you match him, he deletes all of his own icons from the board. This turns 4 mon stages into 3 mon stages (or a “pseudo complexity-1”); and turns 3 mon stages into 2 mon stages (which makes them a joke). Take mega gengar + two super effective mon into any safari stage to beat it with ease.

Is Mega Gengar the best self deleter? No. Technically speaking, he’s the worst. Slowest to evolve at 10 icons, and tied with the lowest AP, so why am I recommending him?

He has three important attributes, he's:

  • Broadly useful
  • Available early in the game
  • Cheap to invest in

Feed him one MSU (which is all that he’ll take), and use him for most of the game while you save your other MSUs for one of the two following choices.

(1) Shiny Mega Charizard X (Flying/Dragon type, 5 ico raw evo, 105 AP, 15 msu to max)

OR

Mega Pinsir (Bug type, 6 ico raw evo, 125 AP, 20 msu to max)

TAPPERS!

YES I AM SHOUTING.

What’s a tapper? When you make a mega match, the screen freezes for three seconds, and you’re prompted to tap x number of times on the screen. Tappers give you an unprecedented level of control over any board; since they let you remove whatever you want: blocks, rocks, barriers, clouds and non-support mon. Even if none of those are bothering you, you can simply tap away icons to induce a skyfall combo that beats the stage in a trivial amount of moves. Mobile players can pull down their notification window to give them more time to think, and 3DS players can homescreen out and choose their matches at leisure from inside the notes app (not on timed stages though).

If there’s a skill curve and skill ceiling anywhere in Pokemon shuffle, it is to be found in the advancement of your use of tapping megas. Even someone like me who doesn’t like the active attention required of tapping, has to concede it’s the best strategy in the game.

SMCX is a 2 tap flying type mon that evolves into a dragon type mega in 5 icons. **It is generally agreed that it is the best overall mega in the game.** It can also be maxed in 15 MSU, which is 5 less than Pinsir. It’s even the easiest mega to find! When you go to search by particular pokemon in your game, SMCX is bottom right of the first screen before you apply any filters! Is there anything he can’t do? (the answer is no)

Pinsir is a 2 tap bug type mega that evolves in 6 icons. Very similar to SMCX, but ever so slightly worse. Slower evo speed and higher investment requirement. He’s not even on the first page of the search screen! Pinsir would be outright worse in every way if not for the fact he has 20 more AP at max level.

Whether you like Bug over Dragon is a bit of a personal opinion. Bug is more useful for being SE more often, but Dragon is less resisted.

You only really need one of these, and as a new player it will take you a long time to save up the required MSU to make either of them viable, so it’s just a matter of which pokemon and megastone you get first when you hit the magic number of 15 or 20 MSU and at what point in the event rotation you are.

Get SMCX if you can, but if it’s far away in the rotation and Pinsir is available, Pinsir is fine. Only get one. Getting both is too redundant for you right now.

(2) Mega Diancie (swapped to Mega Boost+) (Fairy type, 9 icon raw evo, 3(!!!) icon evo boosted, 130 AP, 10 msu to max)

Eater megas.

Eater megas are so called because they “eat” disruptions. Mega Diancie for example is a single eater (only eats one thing) who eats barriers, so when you make a mega match, she will eat up to 10 barriers.

Eater megas are unique in a number of ways. Firstly because of the way their damage is calculated their AP doesn’t matter, and also the Attack Power Up item (APU) does not boost the damage of their mega effect.

“Surely” you would think “They have the worst damage in the game then?”

Weirdly no. Because of the way their damage is calculated, they are arguably the most damaging megas in the game.

Mega Diancie for example does 100 damage for every barrier eaten. Since she can eat up to 10, let’s assume she does 1000 damage. That gets multiplied by 2 when she’s Super Effective (2000 damage), and multiplied by a further 2.5 if typeless combo is active (5000).

So you can safely assume that any super effective single eater under typeless combo will do 5000 damage PLUS the damage from the initial match. That’s pretty crazy for a pokemon that could theoretically have 0 AP.

The thing that sets Mega Diancie apart is Mega Boost+, which you need a skill swapper to access. The eater megas are very well balanced against each other, since most eater megas evolve in 8/9/10 icons, so that fact that Mega Diancie can evolve in 3 is insane!!!

Since Mega Boost+ has 100% proc chance on matches of 4 or 5, you’ll always evolve Diancie in one match in these situations on a clear board.

Mega Diancie is often the best mega for any stage that has barriers, regardless of the typing.

(3) Mega Beedrill (swapped to Swap++) (Poison type, 3 icon raw evo, -2 icon evo boosted, 105 AP, 12 msu to max)

Mega Beedrill is the only single-tap tapper in the game. Instead of the standard cross shapes found in other tappers, Mega Beedrill deletes a 3x3 square. It’s niches are as follows:

  • Blisteringly fast evo speed. Tied with Mega Lopunny for the fastest in the game when abilities are taken into consideration
  • Best mega to use on clogged starting boards. Fast evolution speed tapper WITH swap++ means you can reasonably clear a completely congested starting board in a single mo3. This will save you a lot of money on buying the items “Mega start” and “Disruption Delay” in the long term
  • Anti-Fairy mega. There aren’t a lot of SE choices for types against Fairies, and between the two, Poison is by far the best type. Contrary to the rule of “Megas don’t do much damage”, Mega Beedrill can actually hit pretty hard under poison and when combo’d from poison pact.

“What the hell” you might ask “Is a MINUS two icon evo?”

Oh you noticed that did you?

It’s a bit of a maths fail, but it makes sense if you think about it. Beedrill evolves in 3 icons, which is blazingly fast, but it also has Swap++, which can reduce the icons needed to evolve by 5.

What’s three minus five? Minus two!

What this means practically is that you could find yourself in a situation with say, 3 Beedrill icons, 3 blocks and 2 rocks. You match the three Beedrill icons, proc Swap++, the three blocks become Mega Beedrills icons, which immediately match and give you extra damage and an opportunity to tap. The two rocks also become Mega Beedrill icons and hang around for the next turn.

Don’t worry about this too much, the phrase “-2 evo speed” is pretty specific to me, and my spreadsheet, you won’t encounter it too much in wider shuffle discussion.

At a brief point in the shuffle meta, when matching a mega tapper delayed the disruption counter for a turn, Mega Beedrill was the best mega in the game. Now that that bug is fixed, he’s only fallen slightly but is still very useful.

(4) Mega Aggron (Steel type, 13 icons raw evo, 125 max AP, 5 msu to max)

Aggron has the slowest evo speed on this short-list, BUT 5 MSU is a very cheap total investment, and he is a coveted “Triple Tapper”. Inarguably the best mega effect in the game if Mega Start was always free (which it was, during the now defunct “Mega Start Festival” events).

3 tap megas give unprecedented board control and are the most common top megas in any competition, this is balanced by having the slowest evo speeds among all megas.

To offset his slow evo speed and the cost of the Mega Start item, he is often paired with a common support sidekick in the form of Mega Boost+ Jirachi (who himself has a nicely high 110 max AP).

Not much else to say here. 3 taps is substantially better than 2, but 13 icon evo speed is also substantially worse than 5 / 6

(5) Mega Shiny Diancie (Block Shot) (Fairy type, 9 icon raw evo, 130 AP, 5 msu to max)

OR

Mega Aerodactyl (Swap++) (Rock Type, 9 icon raw evo, 4 icon evo boosted, 105 AP, 14 msu to max):

Now I start to get a bit looser in my recommendations, and you should start to choose your own path a little.

Triple eaters are so called because they eat three things!

“Great!” I hear you say “Why aren’t they higher on the list then?”

Well two reasons:

Firstly, triple eaters do half the damage that single eaters do. 50 damage for every disruption removed, not 100. So by removing 10 disruptions they’ll do a max of 500 damage, 1000 if SE, and 2500 if boosted by typeless combo.

The second reason triple eaters are worse is that they remove Blocks, Rocks and……… Coins.

“What? Coins? Really?”

Yes really. So try to remember to never use them in coin safaris.

So which of these should you choose?

Shiny Diancie is in a unique position among my recommendations so far, in that it actually has a good burst damage skill in Block Shot and has very high max AP to boot. So Shiny Diancie is very good as a regular support non-mega pokemon. It could only be made better by being more visually different from regular Diancie, as many stages would benefit from having both, but it's too hard on our inferior human brains to have both onscreen at the same time.

Aerodactyl on the other hand can be SS’d to Swap++, which can help get him online in 4 icons if it procs on a stage with a lot of disruptions. This is very expensive for new players though, and unlike Regular Diancie who is a “Must swap” mega, Aero is definitely much more of a luxury choice for your SS spending. It’s inarguably worse as a support pokemon than Shiny Diancie. One weird advantage that Aerodactyl has is its rock typing. Random point of trivia, but excluding Alakazam and Shiny Tyranitar; every other eater mega is NVE against the fire type. EXCEPT our boy Aerodactyl, who is Super Effective. This gives him some niche usage in things like the Incineroar EB.

So it’s up to you what you value more: Shiny Diancie, a cheaper investment of a better support pokemon who evolves slower with high burst damage potential, or Aerodactyl the more expensive investment of a worse support pokemon who evolves faster on clogged boards with a niche typing.

(6) Mega Steelix (Steel type, 10 icon raw evo, 110 AP, 11 msu to max)

Since Mega Diancie has solved barriers for you, and you should be swimming in Tappers and one triple eater, now it is time to solve solo blocks.

Steelix is another single eater mega, but this time a Block eater. As stated with Aggron, Steel is the only type who is often seen with a common support sidekick in the form of Mega Boost+ Jirachi.

While it can be argued that Steel is a worse offensive type than the other Block Eater (the Ice-type Winking Glalie); Steelix is much more readily available and cheaper to max. And again, the usefulness of support Jirachi is difficult to ignore.

-------------------------------------------------------------

TOP RUNNER UPS

With these maxed megas, you're prepared for basically anything the game can throw at you disruption-wise; so that’s the end of my specific recommendations, but I have a couple of places you can go from here if you’ve maxed everything we’ve discussed so far.

Not the best at anything, but generally useful enough to be worth recommending

Gallade (Fighting type, 6 icon raw evo, 130 AP, 10 msu to max) and

Manectric (Electric type, 6 icon raw evo, 105 AP, 14 msu to max)

Both of these pokemon are fixed vertical lightning megas, who evolve in 6 icons. They’re kind of unusual in the sense that they don’t have good abilities as support pokemon (Gallade has Block Smash+, and Manectric has Hitting Streak), but their quick evo speed makes this kind of irrelevant when you can easily evolve them as secondary matches, while primarily matching other high burst damage icons.

Their main niches are Gallade’s monstrous AP and excellent fighting type (and Block Smash+ can be a nice turn 1 option on super clogged boards), and Manectric being essentially the only good mega versus water. Just to clarify, Manectric isn’t great, but all the other anti-water megas are bad, so he gets to be the best by default.

If tapping is too intensive for you, they also both make very acceptable Megas to use in Survival mode.

Also if you’ve already gotten Shiny Mega Charizard X to Lv.15, then Shiny Mega Charizard Y is the third and final “6 icon evo fixed vertical lightning mega” and can be fully candied with 5 MSUs which is cheap. He’s not strictly recommended because the flying type is arguably the worst type in the game, but if you really like Gallade and Manectric, you could do a lot worse.

Shiny Mewtwo X - Mega Boost (Psychic/Fighting type, 9 icon raw evo, 6 icons boosted 115 AP, 3 msu to max)

If you liked the self deleter Mega Gengar, SMMX is simply the best mega of that type. Best AP, fastest evo speed made faster by Mega Boost, good typing, highest AP.

------------------------------------------------------------

Lets discuss the other categories of Mega Types

-------------------------------------------------------------

TYPE DELETERS

They are (listed Alphabetically):

Audino Winking (Normal)

Banette (Ghost)

Metagross Shiny (Steel)

Mewtwo Y (Psychic)

Rayquaza (Dragon)

Salamence (Flying)

When you match a type deleting mega, it selects a support pokemon on the board of a particular type, and deletes up to 10 icons of that pokemon.

They basically come in two flavours “Rayquaza” and “Everyone else”.

“Everyone else” deletes icons the same type as them, while Rayquaza deletes icons that aren’t the dragon type.

This means that Type Deleters are very good at causing and continuing combos, but there is a certain amount of luck involved too. This also means that type deleters are the most common top picks for doing Weekend Meowth, the best source of coins in the game.

Shiny Metagross is the best for this function as he evolves in 6 icons, and Mewtwo Y is second with 9 icons (but has a better pool of Mega Boost+ and Quirky++ support pokemon).

Rayquaza (once king of shuffle, now fallen from grace), is now in a weird place where he’s not as good Mewtwo Y or Shiny Metagross at weekend Meowth, but some people report some surprisingly positive results with a team of Mega Rayquaza, Mega Boost+ Zygarde 10%, Any Eject++ Pokemon and a blank slot. Because of his ability to delete any non-dragon pokemon, he has a weird niche of being a pokemon who CAN be generally useful on a variety of stages, but will never be the best choice.

Banette and Winking Audino are third tier type deleters with their own niche usage, but all require high investment that probably isn’t worth it.

Salamence is by far the worst type deleter, because as mentioned, the flying type is really bad.

-------------------------------------------------------------

WHAT ABOUT THE REST?

“I love megas that evolve super fast, I don’t care what they do.”

Look at Mega Lopunny (-2 with Swap++), Heracross (2 with Megaboost+), Mega Charizard X (3 raw) and Gyarados (3 with Mega Boost)

Just to cover some niches here, Mega Lopunny has a weird niche as the queen of cloud removal, since she evolves blisteringly fast and has a visually oversized mega icon. Larger than the graphic of clouds, so you can always see where she is. She is weirdly the best Pokemon to farm the cloud spamming Luxray Special Stage with.

Mega Charizard X is a popular Survival Mode mega choice due to his dragon typing, monstrous AP and 3 icon raw evolution.

Garchomp - Similar to how Manectric is the best anti-water mega while not being very good, Garchomp is the best ground type mega, while also not being very good. 4 icon evolution with Mega Boost+ is great everywhere outside of Survival Mode (trust me here, don’t bring him into SM).

He’s the first pattern mega mentioned, and he does a pattern in the shape of scratch that kinda looks like this \\\

145 max AP is insane (the highest a mega can have) and Ground is a very good offensive type, but Garchomp is not the best vehicle for this kind of power, he’s simply the only one we have.

-------------------------------------------------------------

“I love eater megas. I want to live a life free of disruptions”

For the sake of completeness, I’ll list them all here, take as many as you feel you need.

Barriers:

  • Diancie (Fairy type, 9 icon raw evo, 3(!!!) boosted by Megaboost+)
  • Shiny Tyranitar (Dark type, 8 icon raw evo)
  • Houndoom (Fire type, 9 icon raw evo)

Blocks:

  • Steelix (Steel type, 10 icon raw evo)
  • Winking Glalie (Ice type, 9 icon raw evo)

Triple Eaters:

  • Aerodactyl (Rock type, 9 icon raw evo, 4(!!!) boosted by Swap++)
  • Alakazam (Psychic type, 9 icon raw evo)
  • Shiny Diancie (Fairy type, 9 icon raw evo)-------------------------------------------------------------

“I love tapping! I want to tap all day every day.”

Tappers are great, but you don’t need a lot of them.

The only other useful one you would be missing now is:

Mega Tyranitar (Rock type, 15 (!!!) icons raw, 115 max AP)

Aggron is still pretty clearly the best 3-tapper on paper. Tyranitar’s ONLY advantage is that Rock is a better offensive typing than steel. If you remember me saying I thought 6 icon evo was the acceptable benchmark of good evo speed, 15 icons is very bloody far from that.

Mega Tyranitar has the dubious distinction of being the slowest fully candied mega in the game. His niche of usefulness is during the Mega Houndoom comp, when Mega start is unavailable.

Alternatively, you can always go back and candy whichever of SMCX and Pinsir you didn’t originally choose at the beginning. That’s a really big investment just to get more type coverage, but you might just love tappers that much.

-------------------------------------------------------------

“MEH” TIER

Not bad megas, but nobody’s first choice, not even weirdo outliers like me.

PATTERN MEGAS:

When matched, they destroy icons on screen in a predetermined pattern. These have a real “Your milage can vary” level of usefulness, and sometimes stages will be designed with one of these megas in mind so that the disruptions can be 100% destroyed with the correct mega, but these kinds of stages are few or far between and not worth investing MSU into countering. They are (Alphabetically):

Absol

Charizard X (Repeated for completeness sake)

Charizard Y

Garchomp (Repeated for completeness sake)

Gardevoir Shiny

Gengar Shiny

Glalie

Mawile

Medicham

Metagross

Mewtwo Y Shiny

Pidgeot

Sableye

TYPE REPLACERS:

Replacers are the less attractive younger sibling to Type Deleters. When you match them, they turn 3 icons of one other support that share their type into Mega icons. This can either result in an amazing combo, or absolutely nothing. Since these types are crippled by disruptions, they’re most commonly used to auto-pilot on easy stages with mono-type teams. But that just raises the question of “if the stage is that easy, why not use a better mega and finish faster?”

They are (Alphabetically):

Blaziken (Fire)

Gengar Spooky (Poison)

Mewtwo X (Fighting)

Sableye Spooky (Ghost)

Sceptile (Grass)

Swampert (Fire)

Of these, the top three are ironically the top three alphabetically, as Fire and Poison are powerful types, and Mewtwo has that insane 145 max AP.

CLONE MEGAS:

Clone megas are the weird-fourth-cousin-twice-removed of the replacer megas. When you make a mega match, they add an additional mega icon near the other mega icons that you DIDN’T match.

I feel like these are probably the most underrated mega versus how strong they could be on paper, because unlike replacer megas, they AREN’T random: You 100% know where they will spawn new icons before you make your match.

Additionally, unlike replacers, they CAN remove block/rock/non-support disruptions with more mega effects, so they can help you clear a board.

But for whatever reason, nobody uses them, me included. I think there’s some untapped potential here, but it isn’t worth you investigating them unless you’re an end-game shuffler with plenty of surplus resources.

The clone megas are:

Heracross (Bug, Clones Left)

Sharpedo (Dark, Clones Up)

Slowbro (Psychic, Clones Up)

Also considering Sharpedo got Mega Boost and Heracross got Mega Boost+; I think Slowbro might take the title as “The most shafted Mega Pokemon in shuffle” as his base evolution speed is already the slowest Clone Mega, and his only possible support ability is “Barrier Bash”. Not even Barrier Bash+.

On top of that, he’s responsible for no less than THREE different glitches in gameplay.

BONUS CONTENT - Mega Slowbro infinite combo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V355wqqdzmw

-------------------------------------------------------------

THE “DON’T CANDY” LIST

There's no nice way to say it, but unless you have literally everything above this point candied, everything below this point is a waste of MSUs and should not be invested in.

SLOWBRO

Sorry dude, you can’t be “The most shafted Mega Pokemon in Shuffle” and still be good :(

THE CRAP TAPPERS (“The Crappers?”)

Shiny Rayquaza (Flying type, 2 taps, 9 icon raw evo, 115 max AP, 15 msu to max)

Camerupt (Ground type, 2 taps, 11 icon raw, evo, 110 max AP, 7 msu to max)

These tappers basically represent the worst of both worlds. They have the same effect as SMCX/Pinsir, but instead of being 5 and 6 icons respectively, they’re 9 and 11 icons.

These are the fallen kings of Shuffle. There was a very brief period where they were good, but that has long since passed. Now they are, definitionally “useless”.

If you’re willing to wait 11 icons for your mega to evolve, you might as well wait 2 more, and have the incredible benefit of 3 taps with Mega Aggron instead.

HORIZONTAL DIRECTION DELETERS:

Kangashkan, Gardevoir, Venusaur

If there’s two consistent rules in shuffle, one is that directional delete megas are not great, because they don’t combo; and the other rule is that vertical effects are better than horizontal effects.

Horizontal Direction Deleters didn't get this newsletter. They delete things horizontally, and they’ll rarely combo.

We took an informal poll in the Shuffle Discord, and concluded these were the worst overall mega type with no disagreement. Don’t candy. Don’t use. Just avoid.

AMPHAROS:

Water types are annoying to deal with due to their lack of weaknesses, so it often spawns the question “What is the best Anti-water mega?”.

Unfortunately there aren’t really any “good” anti-water megas, but Ampharos sings a Siren song that often leads Shufflers to a invest in this pokemon who is essentially just a worse Manectric.

I invested in it too, and I will always regret it. I see it as my duty now to warn others away so they don’t suffer my fate.

Really bad 9 icon evo speed outside of Mega Boost+, and an unreliable and low damage mega-effect in vertical random lightning.

EXPLOSION MEGAS:

Blastoise, Altaria, Audino.

Match the icons, and they disappear and destroy some icons near the original matched icons. Not much to say here. These are bad and have no use.

HORIZONTAL LIGHTNING DRAGONS:

Basically Latios and Latias. Both are terrible. Latias is the worst.

Scizor WOULD also be here, since he has the same mega effect, but he has 140 AP and Swap++. Therefore he graduates up to “Candy if you want, but only if you have a lot of spare candy and are really bored”.
