Is this a good idea- to host unfortunate redditors in the area at your house so they don't have to be alone on xmas?
I'm reading tonight and hearing stories of redditors who were alone on the holiday, maybe they have less money this year, going through a divorce, or away from family... It tugs at my heart of course.
I made a turkey today, plus all the trimmings, and then had a ton of Korean food on the table (bulgogi, kimchi, rice) since that is part of my heritage. I was reading thru an IAMA, about the divorced redditor, and was thinking maybe next year in addition to secret santa, would it be a logical idea to try and host people in the area who were alone? Not sure if this is safe, or even a good idea...Maybe if they were established redditors or something?
