Unofficial /r/LSAT Discord Server is LIVE
TL;DR -
- As an extension to the r/LSAT community, we created a Discord server to help you guys connect with others to study (e.g. study groups to review a practice test); Join us on Discord by clicking on this sentence.
- It's designed to help and benefit all test takers; please give mods feedback to ensure it does
- Our Discord server is governed by the same rules that govern r/LSAT, www.Reddit.com, along with Discord's T&S (i.e. law school notice me pls)
- Good luck, much <3, and much ice cream to all

About the Server
In searching for our own personal study group, u/Cfrazier42592 and I created a Discord server for the r/LSAT community; it is currently fragmented with random threads here and there. We wanted to bring people together, as an extension of this subreddit to mainly facilitate our self-studying goals. It's an isolating process!
With our goals in mind, we chose Discord; the chat is all live; and, for those unfamiliar with Discord, it also has VoIP (i.e. unlimited group audio chat). And, like Slack, the chat rooms are divided into different channels; this partition the content, so it's not overwhelming.
Main Methods of Communication:
- Discord - noticed a need for a platform to support live conversation, particularly to support those of us who are self-studying for the exam
- Study Group's Subreddit - to spare this sub from our spam, we use this to keep our Discord community organized (e.g. our study group specific content like reminders for study group sessions, LSAT registration date reminders, other general study group specific content, etc.)
This Discord server is an extension of this community; it's just another way to interact - with a strong emphasis on facilitating study groups and hosting review sessions. To put simply, it's designed to help and benefit all. So, in that vein, we (i.e. server mods) are always very open to feedback. If there's something you'd like to see implemented, if you have ideas on how to improve the experience, or issues, please let us know; we're dedicated to making this helpful, as you work toward your goal score.
We will also be studying for the 2019 LSAT (and complain about the LSAT, a little) with you! :) When we're done with the LSAT, we'll be here to support others - including what not to do on your first day in law school after I invariably doing something stup... brilliant; I mean brilliant.
Disclaimer: Our Discord operates by the same rules that govern r/LSAT and Reddit; by joining, you agree to continue to follow these rules. These rules will be enforced by moderators and, automatically, by bots.
