AMA, I have played the game for almost 6 months.
I am a Chinese player living in the US. I am glad that the game is finally making some move to the rest of the world. I wish i could switch to the global server but I have spent a lot time and money on my account... anyway, AMA about the game, the heroes, i will answer :) Some of the words/names i dont know how they translate to English but i will try not to confuse you.

FAQ:
- Which faction I should go? which heroes?
If you are f2p or only buy the month package, Legion of Glory is the easiest team to play with.
Basic Legion of Glory team: Matthew Almeda Grenier(Buffer) Jessica and Cherie. Everyone can get these heroes and the starting 3 will get 5 stars in Rift. Jessica is the top1 R hero and Cherie is one of the top 2 DPS (the other is Leon).
Advanced Legion of Glory team: Elwin Ledin Hein/Chris Cherie and Liana.
If you want to go Empire, if is fine, you will need Leon/Bernhardt, Bernhardt as the faction buffer. I have to say, you may feel the game becoming hard in Rift chapter 8 because there are too many undead/demon. (Glory team will fight them easier.)
Empire team: Leon Bernhardt Hein Vargas Imelda/Liana (Hein will be Empire later)
If you have Luna and Tiaris/Liana, you can go with Princess. Princess team is the best team for Time Trial (or timeless trial?)
Princess team: Luna Freya Lana/Chris Tiaris/Liana Cherie
Strategic master is most like the Empire and Dark cannot be used alone.
2. How many heroes I should level up.
Base on my experience, if you want to get the max level (your account level + 1), 6-8 at most.
Also, level up your equipment to the max level you can get. At least the weapon/accessory for your dps and the armor for your tank. This is the key point.
3. Should I pull Leon/Elwin/Ledin in the focus banner? Or wait for the SSR healers?
First, SSR chance is 2%. Focus banner means when you get a SSR, 85% chance is one of the two heroes. My strategy is to pull at least one hero, if you have enough tickets, try to pull the other (or you really want) or save for the SSR banner. I have the experience getting one heroes 5 times in a row...
There will be a different 3 heroes banner later, the first hero you pull will be one that you dont have yet. e.g. Leon/Bernhardt/Elwin, if you have Bernhardt/Elwin, then the first SSR must be Leon. However, you may need to wait for it for a long time (one to two months).
4. Should I pull equipment?
No.
5. Is PVP necessary?
Not really. The arena is good though, you play against the stupid AI. with 1900 point, you get 100 honor points and 20 crystal per day. I dont play the PVP arena often, just stay at 1300-1400 to get 40 honor points per day. So the total is 140 honor + 20 crystal per day for me.
Usually I would say at least get 2100 honor points per month for 1000(ssr accessory)+ 500( rune stone) + 150 * 4(tickets)
6. How much gold we can farm per day?
- Goblin + gold event * (3-4) per day. At lvl 60 it is about 400-500k
7. Can (AnyHeroName) be in my team without faction buff?
Technically, heroes with faction buff can be in any team. But you will need 2 cost for the buff and one turn to use that which lower the strength of the hero.
8. Are you F2p or how much did you spend.
I buy the monthly packages and the daily 150 crystal packages. I also bought the 99.99 crystal package two times (in China, it is 648 rmb) but decided not to do that anymore. So total i have spent more than 400 (not 300-400 i mentioned before)
9. Is the Joint Battle necessary?
If you have time and a fixed team, that is good. for me, the Joint Battle time is my 5-6 a.m. I only played several times. You can get gold, bond items, enchantments and items in different days, just like one more daily request. I would say, not a big deal if you dont play Joint Battle, it will not slow you down much.
10. How many SSR/SR heroes do you have? How many pulls?
I have total 21 SSRs, 19 + 2 collab heroes (not shown in the stat). Missed 2 SSR in L4.

12. What is the Guild for.
It has nothing to do right now but you can get to know some people who are willing to continue to play.
In the future there will be a Guild Joint Battle, up to 3 people team up (6 heroes) to fight 5 waves of enemies. You get Guild points and can redeem Class/Equipment upgrade material.
13. How many free tickets we can get?
F2P players get fairly good amount of free crystals and tickets. i think if you complete the main story line and time rift (up to chapter 10) you can get 400-500 pulls (crystal + tickets)
After that if you can complete weekly time trial you can at least get 50-70 pulls per month (crystal + tickets + events)
Let me break down this:
Crystals:
- Daily request 30 * 30
- Monthly sign on 280 total
- Daily arena 15 * 30 (assume you get 12 points) + 20 * 30 (if you have 1900 +)
- Weekly pvp arena 100 * 4 + 100 * 4 if you are top 300
- Weekly Time Trial 590 * 4 if you complete SS
- Daily map request: average 30 * 30
Total: 900 + 280 + 450 + 600 + 800 + 2360 + 900 = 6290
Tickets:
- Monthly sign on: 7-8
- Weekly Time Trial 3 * 4
- Weekly honor store 1* 4
- Monthly Friendship store 2
Total 26
Add there are still random events.
