Xtrestolite odexed vs Lineage OS
I honestly just want to root it for Youtube Vanced with google sign in capability and just I want a jumping off point to know what to look out for and expect. Thanks!

You can log in with non root?

I tried for a long time to get gapps and whatever else working but it didn't want to work with me.

Litteraly install the non root vanced apk and the microG apk from vanced.app

It just fails already tried wiping, dev mode etc

I have recently updated my s6 to official twrp, official lineage 14.1 and gapps pico, and magisk put vanced yt, and it is working like sharm :D, plus Ice box freezer for apps that i dont use very often, battery life is very good.
