I have several very obese cats that id like to get out of the house every once in a while, and potentially organize a play group with other fat felines. I think it could be fun.. the cats can lazily stare at balls if string and we can get blazed. PM me if down.

Cats placed in an unfamiliar space with other unfamiliar cats. What could go wrong?

A cup of dry food a day. Not a huge bowl full at all times.

Get them toys to chase to burn calories. Cats don't have play dates with other cats.
Like most species (including humans), obesity is indicative of a lack of portion control rather than sedentary lifestyle.
Combined they have multiplicative effects, but lack of portion control is far more damaging.
I feed them the standard 4 times per day.
A laser pointer will get them going.
If it's powerful enough, you can carve off a few rolls of fat.
Gonna just reiterate how bad of an idea this is. Cats aren't friendly like dogs are. They won't like each other, probably won't like the unfamiliar people and almost definitely won't like thr unfamiliar setting. You're going to make your cat anxious and unhappy or cause a literal cat fight. Stop feeding them so much, and get them toys or a leash if they seem interested in going outside.

Obese cats? There was this jazz club.... I forget the name, probably doesn't exist anymore. They had all sorts of cats there. Cool cats, obese cats...
