Possible VP units this Spring
As link shows, SE will launch Valkyrie Anatomia: the Origin (Global) this Spring, maybe we will get the VP units at that time. Let's keep our gems for "Nibelung Valesti!" yey!

Seriously took them forever to release Anatomia to the west, though I am not sure if they will get all the JP collabs.
Some of the collabs the JP ver had so far: Slayers, Goblin Slayer, DanMachi, Attack on Titan, Octopath Traveller, and Tales of series, of course SOA and currently Seven Deadly Sins...pretty hard when it comes to licensing issues if they do get to GL.

if some anime/games made it to the WEST, then theres a good chance that there will be a COLLABORATIONS to the GL version too. :)

Its published by wonder planet which is a JP publisher with the previous SE president so I don't think there'll be many issues

They’re currently publishing crash fever and doing a good job with that so I’ll assume they will do the same

As much as I'm a long time Valkyrie Profile fan I'm not interested nor am I supporting Valkyrie Anatomia: Origins. It's was not developed by tri-Ace and is merely a spin-off. Not to mention VP units here in SO: Anamnesis are given more care.

Well probably get the collab a week or 3 after the a anniversary the units are very strong so I think it's a good time.

I remember they teased this as a new VP project, then it was revealed as a mobage and people lost their shit.

VP Collab by schedule will be in 1-2 months or so and I want my FREYA.
I heard Anatomia has horrible pull rates in JP version, hope it will not be the same in the West...

by schedule it's a while away. NA was released in July and we got Lenneth/Silmeria on our second banner after release same as JP. JP was released in December and got 2nd collab in January a bit after their anni, which means we might get ours in August if we are to follow NA schedule, yeah this could all change and we don't know what they have planned but considering how far behind we are in permanent units I think they'll focus on getting those our for a bit then possibly Bridal banner since a lot of those units aren't amazing.
Don't get me wrong I want them really bad and I hope they get here soon but I think we'll get them after anni.

We are on an accelerated pace so JP timing is inaccurate when it comes to GL (those 1 week permanent events we have gotten and the banner skips really do add up). But there is always the likely chance that they will skip VP part 2 like they skipped RoF.
Edit: Miscounted, I think there is 7 banners instead of 5. But still, that is only like 2-3 months of events before we reach that point.

Yeah but they prioritize seasonal over the schedule like how we got summer 6 months early etc and since we already got the 1st VP banner it makes no sense to never get the 2nd one, but, that's a "after anniversary" at least in theory, I don't think we'll get em till after anniversary or ON anniversary. That's my hypothesis, I could be wrong. I get where you're coming from I want VP to get here as much as if not more than others, I'm basically here just for Valkyries (and rena), but, my guess is, on anniversary or after is when we'll see VP part 2, till then I'll be happy with my vanilla Lenneth and amass an armory of bows for when Azure queen comes home.

Wow, that's cool. I was starting to think that game would never get a Global version. Looks like I'll finally get to try it out.
I sure hope the VP units come soon, my stash of gems is ready.

Part 1 of the VP collab in Global was already released with Lenneth and Silmeria back in September. Part 2 will have Azure Sky Lenneth, Freya, Hrist, Arngrim, Mystina, and Lezard. As to when it will be released in Global no one one knows.

OMG I didn't even realize this was gonna come till now. The whole reason I was even playing SOA was because of the VP collab and I had zero hope for this game to come english cus this was released even before SOA in jp. I haven't spent much on SOA but I always told myself I would whale if VPA arrived and now it's being announced, so rip wallet. I am also very familiar with Wonder Planet as I played Crash Fever from about 1 month since GL launch and am still playing it. I have whaled in the past in Crash Fever and am now only a monthly pact user and I can tell you Wonder Planet does not make getting rare units ez with premium currency. So if you plan on whaling in a Wonder Planet game you can easily expect to pay over $1,000 a month, heck it may even cost that much if you are "targeting" a specific unit on one banner in Crash Fever.

Well that is pretty disappointing to hear.
Since I know nothing about Crash Fever, how closely did they follow the JP model? Were they fair to their GL community or is it a bit worse off than their JP counterpart when they monetize such things?
Not that I was planning the play the GL ver of Anatomia since I already play the JP one, but it'll be hard to recommend to friends if they are worse off.
I am not against the gacha model of mobile games like many are, I have spent over $600 just to get Illya in FGO for example (after what she had gone through in the original game and anime movie how could I not to) but, it is never a good thing to hear that they don't make it easily accessible.

I don't follow Crash Fever jp closely anymore but have in the past and one thing jp has had that GL hasn't was selector tickets allowing you to choose a unit you want after pulling a certain amount. GL is like jp on steroids when it comes to overpowered units though and the GL server actually gets a lot of units even before the jp server(it goes something like Taiwan then GL then JP in a lot of cases) even though jp is the original server and Wonder Planet is a jp company. I would say that it is pretty fair for the gacha in GL if you follow info from the discord group and are smart about it, the only difference is that GL just has more units to whale on than jp. From playing GL I can DEFINIETLY say that it is almost impossible to save enough polygon(premium currency) in a month as F2P to satisfy your pulling needs and I would even go as far as saying that playing Crash Fever GL is not even enjoyable if you are not at least a monthly pact player(It costs $8 per month and you get about 2 multi pulls a month). It costs 500 polygon for a normal 10 draw(there is most of the time a 250 discount pull for the first step Wonder Planet recently implemented) and the F2P polygons they give is only about 10-20 a day while the monthly pact gives 25 a day with a 500 polygon bonus for day one. So if you are F2P you can only expect like 3 free discounted multi pulls a month which most likely won't even get you 1 top tier unit.

I really wish other companies would just follow Cygames and Nintendo and just make one server/client for all regions.
It would eliminate their strategies on countering the crystal ball effect and would make it less worrisome.

I wouldn't even call it Valkyrie Profile as the title implies. tri-Ace doesn't even have a hand on it at all. It was completely done in-house by Square Enix.
They do - and it's pretty intricate from what time I'd spent last summer for the Slayers collaboration event (well worth it for Lina and Naga alone to those who dig that series).
