LSFYL AS2 - Week 06 - Spoken Word Week!

Hey everyone!

This week our lip-syncers were asked to create a spoken word lip-sync lasting longer than 2 minutes. Here they are! Let's watch these chatterboxes tell it like it is!

Great job you marvelous motor mouths!

Now, keep on the look out for guest judge's video coming later this week. Marcella Fox (u/itsbrohan) should have it coming at you in the next couple of days.

Voting is now officially OPEN! Send your Top 3 votes ranked in order to officialdorpanthera@gmail.com. Your votes are due by 12:00am Thursday PST. Votes sent via Reddit or Discord will not be counted, however, if you can manage singing telegram, you will be granted one extra vote. Contestants are permitted to vote for themselves throughout the season.

And now onto our Week 7 theme...

Are you ready to turn the page and start a new beginning, middle and end? Well, I hope you are, because this week's theme is Story Week! This week, I am asking you create a story-driven lip-sync with a clearly defined beginning, middle and end. Try to focus on a character and what they need to get this week, as well as beat changes.

Have fun this week and dream up some exciting stuff!

Your guest judge this week is one of my personal favorite story-tellers in LSFYL community, winner of Season 5, Shady Guava (u/shadyguava)!

Your videos are due on Sunday, February 17th at 11:59am PST. All submissions are to be sent to officialdorpanthera@gmail.com. Posts will continue to go up at 12pm PST on Sundays with a viewing party occurring shortly after.

Special note: I am now taking song suggestions. If you would like send me two (2) songs choices you would like to see a lip-syncer(s) perform, please feel free to e-mail me at officialdorpanthera@gmail.com.

Also, if you would like to contribute to our prize-list, send me a PM on Reddit or on Discord.

A big thank you to Babz and Blake for posting for me these last couple of weeks - your help is immensely appreciated!

Good luck this week lip-syncers!
