Everyone kind of knew about it, the school even sacked him, but gave him his job back for some reason. He always looks at the girls weirdly, and even asked one to 'bend over'.
We all make jokes about him, but I've realised that he actually is a pedophile, and that he shouldn't be teaching. Should I do something?

Based on what, rumors going around a high school? That posts seems rather fictitious to me. The op “knows he’s a pedophile, because he looks at girls creepily.” I am not saying he’s not, but you could say that about anyone. He’s told someone to bend over, seems like a small piece to larger story. Did the student throw trash on the floor, teacher says to bend over and pick it up. Then the high school rumor starts that creepy Mr. bill told sally to bend over.
The school is not likely going to fire the “pedo” and then hire them back if there weren’t any merit to the charge in the first place.
The guy could be a creep, but based on the post alone ruining the guys life seems a bit of a stretch.
I know this is anecdotal, but I witnessed a similar scenario when I was in middle school...
Gym teacher was making lewd phone calls to girls after school, was accused of being caught spying on girls changing at one high school here (late 90s) and several girls said they’d been touched inappropriately. In response to those accusations he was quietly asked to resign and then he was hired at the middle school I attended.
He grabbed my ass once. Other girls I knew said similar things. We were 12...
As much as we would like to think that everyone is purely looking out for the kids first and foremost, sometimes people are more interested in keeping “scandalous” shit about their institutions out of the media. How do you think people like Larry Nassar end up molesting hundreds of kids for over a decade?
