Reliable Information on drugs
Inspired by u/Spinderella69 post about (un)intentional bad advice / harm reduction / information about substances I decided to share some of the sources I've found during my time here that I consider to be very useful and reliable. I grouped them under headers/topics for convenience. There's also a seperation being made on more easy-to-read information and the advanced/in-depth information for those who are interested in that. I hope this will help some people out and spread some knowledge!
Edit: people are very much different from eachother! The way a certain drug effects on you is not 100% the same as it's effect on another person. This is due to a great variety of factors (environmental, inter-personal, genetics, other pharmaceuticals etc). Always keep this in mind! Although the information below this point is accurate and regularly updated, it does not necessarily apply to your specific case.
Lastly: Remember the 3 golden rules Nr 1) Seek professional medical assistace if in doubt. Remember: think for yourselves, but care for eachother. Nr 2) You can always take more drugs later on, but what you put in your system is now in there for a while. Be cautious with dosing; always possible to go higher, impossible to go lower again. Nr 3) You only live once, so eat ass, smoke glass and tweak fast!!
Stay safe all, enjoy your day and bask in the dopamine-induced goodness! Happy tweaking and happy learning, cheers! -- CultriX

Trolling is fun, but pushing someone to doing something bad while they are not thinking straight is taking it too far imo. Note2: When people are in a state of excited delirium they require urgent medical intervention. This has been happening a lot at raves lately.

Important information on drug-interactions (YES your meds can have bad interactions with drugs). Should be mandatory check for anyone who is (picking up) stimming while on prescription meds, especially ones like SSRI, SNRI, TCA and MAO-inhibitors!

Additional notes in reaction to questions I get.
Q1: Is it true its near impossible to OD on meth? A1: Acute overdosing on stimulants is definitely possible. Although it rarely "just" happens and is often multidactoral, a stim OD can cause: -Fatal heartarrhythmia's (caused by increased bloodpressure due to vasoconstriction --> hart has to work harder with less oxygen available -Seizures mostly due to body temp or intracerebral bleeding -Hyperthermia (explained above why dangerous). Besides these dangers could also lead to other dangerous situations like coagulopathy of the blood which can cause intravascular coagulation. -Acute liver and kidney failure, for example due to rhabdomyolysis (=breaking down of muscle tissue) -Electrolye imbalances, most notoriously hypokalemia which also causes heart rhythm abnormalities and lactic acidosis.
Its worth noting that stims are more of a damage over time effect, while opiates can potentially get you killed with one hit thats too strong (bc of Fentanyl for example that user is unaware of)
Q2: Will taking a benzo (downer) and stim (upper) murder my heart? A2: No, in fact benzodiazepines are used in the emergency room on almost all patiënts high on stims. The sedation makes them less psycho in their behavior, thisballows the team to work with patient and it prevents the patient from heating up even more cause of agitation. It is true, however, that benzos reduce the high feeling which often leads to more stims Which ofcourse is not the best for the heart
Q3: What is Eurospeed? A3: Eurospeed is amphetamine (racemic). It either comes as a powder or a 'wet paste' from production that the user needs to dry before using. Methamphetamine is able to reach the brain faster and more efficiently than regular amphetamine. It produces a bigger spike in dopamine and serotonine, and is longer lasting. Methamphetamine gets metabolised to an active metabolite, you guessed it, amphetamine.
