It's all jokes on the snowboarders until you yardsale in 18" of fresh and we spend an hour combing the chute for your missing ski.
...I hope you're reading this, Alex.
Earlier this season I was waiting in line on a big powder day. I saw a few older guys with bright colored streamers tied to their bindings and loosely tied to their boot. It took me a few minutes to figure it was so they could find their skis faster.

My boarder friends are knocking me over at the top of the lift, causing the operator to stop it. Its a problem. You cant reflexively grab onto me when you slip up, I will just fall on you.
That’s more a shitty person problem. I work lifts and that happens with both skiiers and snowboarders
My buddies usually put on their bindings while sliding off the lift. Never had to wait for any of them
How is this worse than the skiers who suck at poling/skating technique? Sure, it's a bit rushed but they know what they're doing.
Well it's a joke. And this is a video from a pro who is also making a joke, so I think you should lighten up.
Are you sure you don't need to lighten up? And, why aren't you out skiing right now with WP reporting new snow today?
I have a job and an infant, so my days playing hooky are limited this year.
Throw that infant in a size 17 boot and get him going!
Because being horrible on flats is an inherent weakness in snowboarding. Bad skiers suck on flats, but it's on them. Good boarders struggle on flats, especially when compared to good skiers.
As to why I'm not skiing, the hill is not open yet, and I'm having breakfast. Here's my view: http://imgur.com/xxlapEh
That’s what they get for having to stop and put on their bindings after EVERY LIFT
tbh I buckle my boots at the top too
Takes like 15 seconds, maybe costs me a couple minutes a day. It evens out when I’m waiting for my skier friends whenever they have to walk in their boots
I go skiing with my snowboarder friends and I always have to wait for all of them
That's a big part of why I stopped boarding. Everything fun on most mountains you have to traverse to, and traverses SUCK on boards
