Two Possibilities About Why Everything Always Goes Back to Normal

As the title suggests. And why they remember some of the events of past episodes that seemingly feature major changes to the status quo.

1. Unikitty and the gang are cosmic beings. And every episode is set in a different dimension.
2. Dr. Fox secretly has a literal reset button. If she can create a button that make something exciting happen, she may be capable of creating something that resets reality. Why it didn't effect Dr. Fox and her friends' memories, I haven't theorized. Think of it like the Fairly Odd Parents special, Timmy's Secret Wish.

Why else would there be a flashback of Dr. Fox turned to corn. Why Unikitty is no longer split in two. And why Unikingdom is no longer ruled by a duck.
