When to dummy link?

It depends on your core stockpile, you want to link a girl as soon as you can, as it greatly increases her combat performance, but hold off on linking higher rarity girls if you don't have a duplicate or a large enough reserve of cores because of how costly they can be at the start of the game. (2 star = 1 core per link, 5 star = 15 cores per link)

This is assuming I t-doll enhance them before linking

Usually it's better when you can, the amount of exp that get each t-doll scales with the number of dummies.

dummy x2= gain x1.5 exp per battle | dummy x3= gain x2 exp per battle | dummy x4= gain x2.5 exp per battle | dummy x5= gain x3 exp per battle

So yeah, as soon you can dummy link them, you would. And they need lots of exp at higher levels ofc, it make it easy.
