I was really hoping for the camera to pan guy to some unfortunate person being dragged down the sidewalk.

Same, then I realized the guy was the cameraman and made it a little sad

What happened to the guy?
Not sure, but I know that dog made it halfway across the country before it finally turned back and noticed nobody was there.
IIRC he did it to see how his dog would react.
IIRC he recorded this as a response to a video where a guy fell and the dog helped. I think it was a trend for a while of testing your dog.
