"Todd keeps John Madden'ing every joke" - Adam Eget

I don't know if Todd Glass is always like this, or if it's just because he visited a dispensary before going onto the show, but the way he talks - constantly cutting himself off to pre-empt a point he's going to make a sentence later, and over analyzing everything Norm says - is truly bizarre.

Yes, he's always like this and it's why I unsubscribed from his podcast. He can ramble on for 30 mins and not say anything that couldn't be said in about 30 seconds, and rarely reaches anything resembling a coherent point.

He always gets sidetracked and tells stories that have little to no relevance to the original topic and a lot of time you can tell he either doesn’t have a punch line or the one he had in mind doesn’t really fit the topic so he kind of bails out at the end of his story. Todd also steam rolls conversations all the time and takes them in uninteresting direction, I understand that there is comedic value there but Todd does that SO much it loses its comedic value.

It’s definitely a unique shtick but it walks a thin line of being high energy brilliant comedy and just annoying banter to fill the silence.

I really think it's a side effect of being stoned out of his fucking mind. Back in my days of partaking, I'd get overly analytical about EVERYTHING and have to break it down aloud...aka "John Madden" it. I probably thought I was being incredibly profound and insightful at the time, but after watching the Todd glass episode, I think it's safe to assume I was just bring an annoying condescending dope who didn't know when or how to shut up.

Probably my least favourite quest of NML. This Todd Glass fella is consistently steeping on Norms jokes and not getting them. Besides that he seems like one of these painstakingly unfunny agenda comics that aim for the audience to clap instead of laugh.
