Uthermal did not play well today.

I see a lot of people blaming uthermals loss on this or that but it really comes down to that he isn’t playing as well as he usually does. He’s been making a lot of mistakes that he usually doesn’t, even compared to this year in the GSL. He could be choking, or jet lagged, or whatever, he is simply not playing up to his usual standard. So if anyone wants to cry imba these games are not the hill to die on. His opponents played well and uthermal didn’t.

I know this is just a shitpost but I think UThermal played pretty well. They went 2-0 against Scarlett, won against Bunny, and took a game off TY. One more win against anyone and they would have made it to the round of 12.

I can never really be a UThermal fan though. He's pretty levelheaded and well spoken outside of the game, but he tilts really easily and gets way too emotional. It always strikes me as immature. I know a lot of people feel differently, or think it makes them seem invested, but I personally just really dislike that kind of a personality.

Uthermal is a tier 3 player, i don't see how he can even dream of ever winning anything, at least Special can sometimes fight koreans on the same level. Uthermal should just retire already.

They should drop the top prize in one tourney so people who get to round of 12/16/whatever make a reasonably high amount to support some of the more T3 players. Not sure at all if Uthermal is now or not (haven’t seen him play/watched too much lately) but generally I think there’s a real point to your troll comic- some people who are near the top aren’t quite at that level of having a real shot despite showing up and probably having to practice. Those spots should get more reward so it’s more worth their while lll
